Logan Jadin is an active teenager from Freedom, Wisconsin. When Logan was two, he broke his femur. As he grew, one leg became slightly shorter than the other. If left uncorrected, Logan could experience knee, back and hip problems throughout his adult life.

Kurt Heyrman, MD, a pediatrician with Affinity Medical Group referred Logan and his family to Kenneth Noonan, MD, a UW Health pediatric orthopedic surgeon with American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Noonan recommended epiphysiodesis, or leg lengthening surgery, to help Logan's shorter leg "catch up" to his other leg.

With minimal recovery time after surgery, Logan was back on his feet within six weeks. According to Annette Jadin, Logan's mom, "It's nice to have him back out there running again; just to see him run."
