In today's health care environment, practitioners work hard to keep children out of the hospital. More than 95 percent of care for children is offered in an outpatient setting.With a partnership forged in 2001, Affinity Health System and American Family Children's Hospital are committed to providing quality general and specialty pediatric care close to home for Fox Valley and Oshkosh families.
At the Affinity/UW Children's Health Center, visiting specialty clinics are staffed by American Family Children's Hospital pediatric specialists who travel from Madison to see patients at the Children's Health Center in Appleton.
This allows children who need specialty pediatric care to be seen for diagnosis, regular check-ups and some treatments, in their own community.
The Affinity/UW Children's Health Center is located at St. Elizabeth Hospital at 1506 S. Oneida St., Fifth Floor, in Appleton, Wis. Entrance and parking for the Children's Health Center is conveniently located just off Oneida Street. The center provides a fun, interactive, child-friendly atmosphere to help young patients feel comfortable in a medical setting.
