UW Medical Foundation Board of Directors: James E. Burgess

Mr. Burgess is a UW Medical Foundation Board of Directors public member and the former publisher of the Wisconsin State Journal.

He is a recipient of the UW School of Journalism’s Distinguished Service Award. Now involved in many community projects, he is a member of the Gundersen Lutheran national advisory council, Monona Terrace Funding Corporation, Madison Community Foundation board of governors and Edgewood College trustees.
