Terry WilkersonTerry Wilkerson, P.E., serves as vice president for facilities and support services, which includes the following departments: art, central services, construction, facilities planning, food services, plant engineering, safety, security and valet services at UW Hospital and Clinics.

He serves as president of the Board of Directors of Madison United Healthcare Laundry. Additionally, he serves on the Boards of Directors of Madison Environmental Resources, Inc., and United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County.

Wilkerson also is a Captain, Civil Engineer Corps, and is the U.S. Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer assigned to the state of Wisconsin. In this role, he assists with planning, preparation and recovery operations for any emergency or disaster which might occur. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Desert Storm, and has been awarded the Bronze Star, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy Achievement Medal.

A registered Professional Engineer, Wilkerson previously held positions of director of engineering and director of facilities at Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.
