Mark Hamilton, FACHE
Mark A. Hamilton, FACHE, has been vice president for ambulatory operations at UW Hospital and Clinics since 1992.
Prior to joining UW Hospital and Clinics, Mark served in multiple leadership roles at Indiana University Medical Center, including assistant director of hospitals; administrative associate; administrator, Renal Services; and interim administrator, James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children. He also served in several administrative roles at Methodist Hospital Indianapolis.
Mark is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of ACHE. In addition, he served as President of the Wisconsin Chapter of ACHE from 2008-2009 and was elected as ACHE Regent from Wisconsin in 2010.
Mark is involved in the community through volunteer service for Multiple Sclerosis, the Dane County Boys and Girls Club, United Cerebral Palsy of Dane County and Wisconsin Dialysis, Inc. He was also instrumental in helping establish the South Madison Health and Family Center-Harambee, a public-private partnership located in Madison.
Mark earned a BA in business administration from the University of Kansas and a MS in Public Health Administration at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
